On FSI and TFSI engines, oil deposits on the valves are a recurring issue: at 80,000 km, some owners notice an oily buildup that reduces cylinder filling and can cause knock. The CTS Turbo catch can kit (Billet Valve Cover) aims to prevent oil blow-by deposits from entering the intake, especially on a tuned engine.

Maintenance
Empty the catch can reservoir about every 5,000 km. The collected oil indicates the condition of the breather circuit. The kit includes the mounting bracket and complete hose set.
