BMC Air Filter: Ref. 392/01
The stock paper filter is convenient on original fitment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 392/01, made of multi-layer oiled cotton gauze, allows more airflow than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner and re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
