BMC Air Filter - Part No. 317/20
The original paper filter is practical as first fitment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC part no. 317/20, made from multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, allows more air through than paper while effectively trapping particles. The result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more disposable filters to buy.
Key features
- Washable and reusable - unlimited service life with regular maintenance
- Higher airflow than the original paper filter
- Direct fitment - no modification, plug-and-play replacement
- Effective filtration - multi-ply oiled cotton gauze
- Warranty: 2 years
Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling fluid, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
