BMC Air Filter: Ref. 575/20

The original paper filter is convenient as factory fitment, but once you have tried a washable cotton filter, it is hard to go back. The BMC ref. 575/20, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, allows more airflow than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Filter Maintenance

Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
