BMC Air Filter: Ref. 135/06

The original paper filter is practical as original equipment, but once you have tried a washable cotton filter, it is hard to go back. The BMC ref. 135/06, made from multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, allows more air through than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no need to buy a disposable filter again.

Filter maintenance

Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner and re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before refitting.
