BMC Air Filter - Ref. 458/20
The original paper filter is convenient for first fitment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 458/20, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets through more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: sharper throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more disposable filters to buy.
Key points
- Washable and reusable - unlimited service life with regular maintenance
- Higher airflow than the original paper filter
- Direct fit - no modification required, plug-and-play replacement
- Efficient filtration - multi-ply oiled cotton gauze
- Warranty: 2 years
Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before refitting.
