BMC Air Filter: Ref. 809/20
The original paper filter is convenient for first fit, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 809/20, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets through more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.
Key features
- Washable and reusable: unlimited lifespan with regular maintenance
- Higher airflow than the original paper filter
- Direct fit: no modification required, plug-and-play replacement
- Efficient filtration: multi-ply oiled cotton gauze
- Warranty: 2 years
Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
