BMC Air Filter: Part No. 720/01
The original paper filter is convenient as OE fitment, but once you have tried a washable cotton filter, it is hard to go back. The BMC part no. 720/01, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets through more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more disposable filters to buy.

Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km using the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner and re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
