BMC Air Filter: Part no. 762/20

The original paper filter is convenient as original equipment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC part no. 762/20, made from multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, allows more air through than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: better response on acceleration, an engine that breathes better, and no more disposable filters to buy.

Filter maintenance

Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
