BMC Air Filter: Ref. 521/20
The original paper filter is convenient as original equipment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 521/20, made from multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, flows more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. The result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Filter Maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner and re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let the filter air dry, then re-oil it before reinstalling.
