BMC Air Filter - Ref. 1005/20

The original paper filter is fine as a factory fitment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 1005/20, made of multi-layer oiled cotton gauze, allows more airflow than paper while trapping particles effectively. The result: improved throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more disposable filters to buy.

Filter maintenance

Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling fluid, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
