BMC Air Filter: Ref. 748/20
The original paper filter is practical as a first fit, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 748/20, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, flows more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: sharper throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more disposable filters to buy.

Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC cleaning kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before refitting.
