BMC Air Filter: Ref. 505/20
The original paper filter is convenient as factory equipment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 505/20, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets through more air than paper while effectively trapping particles. Result: sharper throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no need to ever buy a disposable filter again.
Key Features
- Washable and reusable: unlimited service life with regular maintenance
- Higher airflow than the original paper filter
- Direct fit: no modification, plug-and-play replacement
- Efficient filtration: multi-ply oiled cotton gauze
- Warranty: 2 years
Filter Maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
