BMC Air Filter: Ref. 226/04

The original paper filter is convenient as standard equipment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 226/04, made from multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets through more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. The result: sharper throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Filter Maintenance

Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km using the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner and re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
