BMC Air Filter - Ref. 199/04
The original paper filter is convenient as OEM fitment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 199/04, made from multi-layer oiled cotton gauze, lets more air through than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
