BMC Air Filter: Part No. 278/05
The original paper filter is practical as factory fitment, but once you have tried a washable cotton filter, it is hard to go back. The BMC part no. 278/05, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, flows more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. The result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more disposable filters to buy.

Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner and re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
