BMC Air Filter: Part No. 671/20
The original paper filter is convenient as original equipment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 671/20, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets more air through than paper while trapping particles effectively. The result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no need to ever buy a disposable filter again.

Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
