BMC Air Filter - Ref. 539/20

The original paper filter is convenient as factory equipment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 539/20, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets more air through than paper while still trapping particles effectively. The result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Key features

  • Washable and reusable - unlimited service life with regular maintenance
  • Higher airflow than the original paper filter
  • Direct fit - no modification required, plug-and-play replacement
  • Efficient filtration - multi-ply oiled cotton gauze
  • Warranty: 2 years

Filter maintenance

Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
