BMC Air Filter - Ref. 647/20
The original paper filter is convenient for factory fitment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, going back is hard. The BMC ref. 647/20, made of multi-layer oiled cotton gauze, lets through more air than paper while effectively trapping particles. The result: sharper throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
