BMC Air Filter: Part No. 495/08
The original paper filter is convenient as factory fitment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC part no. 495/08, made from multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, flows more air than paper while still trapping particles effectively. The result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no need to keep buying disposable filters.

Filter Maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km using the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
