BMC Air Filter: Ref. 705/01
The original paper filter is convenient for first fit, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 705/01, made from multi-layer oiled cotton gauze, flows more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. Result: sharper throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Filter Maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
