BMC Air Filter: Part 704/01
The original paper filter is convenient as a first fit, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC part 704/01, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets through more air than paper while trapping particles effectively. The result: a sharper throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more buying disposable filters.

Filter maintenance
Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner + re-oiling fluid, sold separately). After washing, let it air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
