APR Subframe Bushing - PQ35

APR performance part: ball joint Dogbone Mount, designed and manufactured by APR for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda platforms.

Technical features:

• Reduces gearbox movement: by removing the original rubber bushing, the APR system limits play in the drivetrain for more precise gear changes and better power transfer to the ground. Combined with the original subframe bushing, it provides a sportier feel on acceleration, deceleration and gear changes, without excessive increase in noise and vibration (NVH).
• Reduces the risk of gearbox breakage: the original rear mounting point, prone to failure under heavy use, is replaced by an MQB / MK7 platform-type mount. With this new orientation, the system is much less likely to tear out or break the rear bolts, a failure that generally leads to costly repairs or even full replacement of the transmission case.
• Spherical joint: far less unwanted movement than rubber or polyurethane inserts, made possible by the revised rear mounting hardware. The joint is fully disassemblable and serviceable, with heat-treated race, precision-ground ball and self-lubricating, self-sealing PTFE coating.
• Billet aluminum construction: the front and rear parts replace the original cast aluminum and pressed steel parts with precision-machined, lightweight and strong components.
• Black anodized finish
• Replacement hardware: the original bolts are single-use and must be replaced when fitting a new mount. The APR system includes reusable bolts, stronger and more durable than the originals.
• Easy installation: does not require lowering the subframe and remains compatible with original or original-type modified subframe bushings. Complete installation instructions included.
