APR Lowering Spring Kit - MK7 / MK7.5 GTI / Golf R

APR Roll-Control lowering springs were developed specifically for MQB platforms, with spring rates calculated to improve handling without sacrificing everyday comfort. They fit factory adaptive (DCC) or non-adaptive shock absorbers and mount directly onto them.

  • Golf 7.5 GTI with DCC: 22 mm front, 37 mm rear
  • Golf 7 GTI without DCC: 18 mm front, 32 mm rear
  • Golf 7.5 R with DCC: 5 mm front, 22 mm rear
• Spring rate: 5.8 kg/mm front and 6.5 kg/mm rear, with an increase depending on version of:
  • Golf 7.5 GTI with DCC: +50% (+1.9 kg/mm) front, +60% (+2.4 kg/mm) rear
  • Golf 7 GTI without DCC: +76% (+2.5 kg/mm) front, +45% (+2.0 kg/mm) rear
  • Golf 7.5 R with DCC: +50% (+1.9 kg/mm) front, +48% (+2.1 kg/mm) rear
• Dual-rate spring at front: 3.3 to 5.8 kg/mm
• Dual-rate spring at rear: 2.8 to 6.5 kg/mm
• Acts as a single-rate linear spring once loaded
• Noticeably improves stance and vehicle attitude
• Remains comfortable on the road
• Lowers the vehicle's center of gravity
• Reduces body roll

• Limits bottoming out at the end of shock travel
