APR high-energy ignition coils address misfires that occur at stage 2+ on TFSI engines. The higher charge density from elevated boost pressure exceeds the capacity of OEM ignition coils to produce a stable spark. APR coils have been reinforced to maintain complete combustion under these conditions.
