ST Suspensions STXA coilovers, part number 1828000N#4, for Volkswagen Golf VII (AU) sedan, four-wheel drive, models with independent rear suspension (IRS), strut diameter Ø 55 mm, from 11/2012. Motorsport-derived, the STXA range allows ride height and damping adjustment.

Features

• Ride height adjustment: front and rear (on vehicles that allow it), via a disc on the threaded body of the shock absorber
• Damping adjustment: progressive knob on top of the shock absorber rod, to fine-tune the setup
• Lowering: 35-65 mm front, 40-65 mm rear
• Max. permitted axle load: up to 1080 kg front, up to 980 kg rear
• Protection: galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating
• Galvanized steel strut legs

Installation and delivery

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and replace the factory suspension without modification. If the vehicle only has springs at the rear from the factory, this kit will be the same.

Only STXTA coilovers are sold with strut mounts. For any other model, factory strut mounts are required for installation. Kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required.

Technical note before ordering

• On M-Tech models, use only lowering spring kits: the lowering will be 20 mm less than indicated.
• Kit designed for models with a 55 mm diameter strut on the front axle.
• The factory electronic suspension control system must be deactivated. The deactivation kit is available under part number KW 68510342.
