BMC Air Filter: Ref. 798/20

The original paper filter is convenient as first-fit equipment, but once you've tried a washable cotton filter, it's hard to go back. The BMC ref. 798/20, made of multi-ply oiled cotton gauze, lets through more air than paper while effectively trapping particles. Result: better throttle response, an engine that breathes better, and no more disposable filters to buy.

Key points

  • Washable and reusable, unlimited service life with regular maintenance
  • Higher airflow than the original paper filter
  • Direct fit, no modification, plug-and-play replacement
  • Efficient filtration, multi-ply oiled cotton gauze
  • Warranty: 2 years

Filter maintenance

Cleaning recommended every 15,000 to 20,000 km with the BMC maintenance kit (cleaner and re-oiling oil, sold separately). After washing, let air dry, then re-oil before reinstalling.
